Scholarship Applications for the 2023 Award!

The Butler County Airport Authority is proud to announce that they plan to award one $2,500 scholarship and one $5,000 scholarship in January 2023. Qualified applicants must be pilot trainees at the Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport location of AirQuest Aviation or High Flight Academy. Additionally, under the same application, one Butler County resident will be chosen to receive the $2,500 David C Howard Passion for Flying Award.

Guidelines and applications will be available by 4 pm on Tuesday, November 1, at the flight schools, the Authority office or on this site under the Future of Flight Scholarship tab. All requirements of the application must be received in the Authority office no later than 12:00 noon EST on Wednesday, November 30, 2022.
