Pittsburgh-Butler Regional Airport is more than a runway and hangars. It’s a vibrant community of diverse individuals united by a shared passion: Aviation.

Tucked into the picturesque countryside of Butler County, the airport’s location offers a quick jaunt to some of the most scenic natural sites southwestern Pennsylvania has to offer. Yet, with nearly immediate access to State Route 8, airport visitors can easily travel by car south to Pittsburgh or head 5 miles north to the county seat, Butler City.

The 300+-acre public airport (BTP. KBTP), also known as K.W. Scholter Field, hosts an assortment of events and services for both pilots and community members.

We’re also the proud home of premiere Fixed Base Operator,  AirQuest Aviation — a quality one-stop shop of fuel sales, ground servicing and support, aircraft maintenance, concierge services, car rental, flight school, charter services, and aircraft management.

We welcome you to visit. But you might just want to stay.
